Unstable weather conditions to persist across Cyprus until Friday
Seasonal low pressure is currently affecting Cyprus, bringing unstable conditions with isolated rain and thunderstorms expected mainly over the mountains and inland areas. During the day, conditions remain mostly clear, but increased cloud cover in the afternoon may lead to storms and potential hail. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 36°C inland, 30°C on the western coast, 33°C on other coasts, and 24°C in the highest mountains. Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear with local fog or mist forming in the early morning hours, particularly in southern and eastern regions. Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest at 3 to 5 Beaufort, with coastal areas seeing stronger gusts. Improvement in weather conditions and a slight temperature rise are expected starting Saturday. It is important to note that some older reports contained inaccurate data regarding snow levels and dam capacities, which have been superseded by current meteorological forecasts.
