AEL Limassol holds general assembly and announces development plans
On June 2, 2026, AEL Limassol held its annual General Assembly, where the outgoing Board of Directors presented a report and a new strategic development plan. President Constantinos Constantinou confirmed his continued leadership, noting that a significant portion of the club's financial obligations was settled in the first five months of the year. Key infrastructure projects include a 17,262-square-meter training center in Kolossi featuring two pitches, a gym, and recovery facilities, as well as an academy center in Eastern Limassol. The club also plans to renovate the Nikos Solomonidis indoor arena, purchase administrative offices, and launch AEL TV and a club museum. On the sporting side, the management acknowledged past mistakes and set goals for the next season, including finishing in the top three and securing a spot in a European competition group. Coach Hugo Martins will remain with the team to ensure stability. Additionally, the club introduced the 'AEL Loyalty' rewards program for fans.
