Apollon Limassol announces agreement with Konstantinos Balogiannis
Apollon Limassol has reached a preliminary agreement with 27-year-old Greek left-back Konstantinos Balogiannis. Balogiannis, who previously played for Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, joins the club following spells at PAOK, Volos, and OFI. The team is also actively negotiating with 29-year-old Slovenian striker Alen Ozbolt, who scored 11 goals for Levadiakos last season. Meanwhile, the club confirmed the departure of defender Praxitelis Vouros after two years and 54 appearances. Other recent departures from the defensive line include Thomas Lam and Zacharias Adoni. The team is expected to sign Leonidas Konomis in the coming days to bolster their squad. Apollon management is prioritizing the acquisition of at least two quality center-backs to partner Josef Kvinda before their training camp in the Netherlands on July 2.
