Apollon Limassol strengthens squad with multiple signings
Apollon Limassol has officially announced several new signings as part of their strategy for the upcoming football season. The club completed the acquisition of forward Andreas Athanasiou from Akritas Chlorakas on a contract running until May 2028, with an option for an additional season. Additionally, the team secured defender Konstantinos Balogiannis, also signed until May 2028, and winger Angelos Andreou. Regarding other transfer activity, the club is in advanced discussions with Slovenian forward Alen Ozbolt, who has reached a verbal agreement and is expected in Cyprus for medical examinations. These moves follow a period of intense activity by the club’s management to reorganize the squad. Earlier reports suggested Leonardo Koutris was considered as an alternative for the defensive position before the club finalized the agreement with Balogiannis. All signings aim to bolster the team's competitiveness for both domestic and European fixtures.
