Pafos FC defeats APOEL in final league match ahead of cup final
Pafos FC concluded their league campaign with a 2-0 victory over APOEL at the Stelios Kyriakides stadium on the final matchday of the playoffs. The goals were scored by Lele in the 18th minute and Nikolas Ioannou in first-half stoppage time. This match served as a final preparation for Pafos FC ahead of the upcoming Cyprus Cup final against Apollon, scheduled for May 29 at the GSP Stadium. Coach Ricardo Sa Pinto utilized the second half to rotate his squad and reintegrate player Goldar, who returned after a four-month absence. APOEL finished the season with a loss, reflecting a difficult year characterized by internal frustrations.
