Fire safety awareness event held in Paphos

On April 25, 2026, ERB Asfalistiki and the Cyprus Fire Service organized a public open day at the Paphos Medieval Castle. The event was held as part of Fire Safety Week and operated under the auspices of the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Costas Fytiris. Attendees were provided with information regarding fire prevention and extinguishing techniques, and had the opportunity to view firefighting equipment and vehicles. The initiative featured activities for children, including rides on two fire trucks previously donated by ERB Asfalistiki to the service. This event served as the conclusion of a year-long educational collaboration between the two organizations. The project was supported by Live Link and assisted by the Paphos Municipality. The collaboration between ERB Asfalistiki and the Cyprus Fire Service has been ongoing for 25 consecutive years to promote public safety and environmental protection.
