Israel qualifies for CEV beach volley nations cup finals in Protaras

The CEV Beach Volley Nations Cup 2026 preliminary phase took place from May 8 to May 10, 2026, at Fig Tree Bay in Protaras, Cyprus. National teams from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Israel, and Poland competed in the tournament, which was co-organized by the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia and the Cyprus Volleyball Federation. Israel, represented by the teams Tamir Hershko with David Lanciano and Omer Goslan with Yanay Fisher, secured victory in the tournament, winning all six of their matches. The event concluded with Israel earning a spot in the final phase, scheduled for July 16–19, 2026, in Budapest. Opening ceremonies were held on May 8, coinciding with European Day celebrations.
