Cyprus police search for five missing individuals

Cypriot authorities have issued urgent appeals for public assistance in locating five missing persons. Ali Bakhshalizadeh, 28, from Iran, has been missing from Limassol since May 12, 2026; he drives a grey Nissan with plates KYS 271. Arina Naradko, 16, has been missing from Limassol since May 9, 2026. Emiliyan Yordanov, 16, a Bulgarian national, has been missing from Latsia, Nicosia, since 16:35 on May 13, 2026. Melina Eleftheriou Theofanidi, 15, has been missing from Nicosia since May 11, 2026. Additionally, 78-year-old Achilleas Michail has been missing from his home in Strovolos since May 9, 2026. Members of the public with information are urged to contact the Limassol CID at 25-805057, the Nicosia CID at 22-802222, their local police station, or the Citizen Line at 1460.
