Election polling station locator service activated in Cyprus
The Office of the Chief Returning Officer in Cyprus has activated the 'Where do I vote' (Pou Psifizo) service, allowing citizens to identify their assigned polling stations. Voters can access this information via the official website at wtv.elections.moi.gov.cy or through the general elections portal at elections.gov.cy by providing their ID number and date of birth. Additionally, citizens can use an SMS service by sending a message to 1199 in the format 'wtv [ID number] [date of birth]', costing 0.04 euros per message. A dedicated telephone information service is also operational, offering a national number at 77 77 22 12, along with specific district numbers for Nicosia, Limassol, Famagusta, Larnaca, and Paphos. Telephone support operates on weekdays from 8:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 8:00 to 13:00, with services continuing throughout election day. Charges for the national telephone number are 0.081 euros per minute for landline calls and 0.1050 euros per minute for mobile calls. The service is also supported by a direct line at the Ministry of Interior at 22 867 640.
