Survivor participant hospitalized after boat accident in Dominican Republic

A 22-year-old participant of the Survivor reality show is in serious but stable condition following a boat accident in the Dominican Republic. The incident occurred while the individual was spearfishing outside of the show's competition activities. Reports indicate the victim sustained a partial amputation of his left leg and a serious injury to his right ankle after being struck by a tourist vessel. Greek Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis confirmed that authorities are aware of the situation and are prepared to assist with repatriation when his medical condition allows. The production company, Acun Medya, has stated that they provided immediate aid and that local port authorities are currently investigating the circumstances. In response to the event, the television channel SKAI has decided to temporarily suspend the broadcast of the program. The station expressed its support for the participant and committed to assisting with his medical care and rehabilitation. The patient is currently considered out of immediate danger.
