Limassol police hold community meeting with Russian-speaking residents

On October 3, the Limassol police department held an informative meeting at the Mediterranean Hotel for the Russian-speaking community. Limassol Police Chief Solomos Solomou and other officials presented the department's structure, focusing on crime prevention, property security, and road safety. The event was organized in collaboration with the newspaper 'Vestnik Kipra' and supported by the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Limassol. Attendees received contact information for local police stations and community officers. During the Q&A session, a participant publicly thanked the police for preventing the abduction of her three-year-old son on September 9. The presentation was conducted in Greek and English with consecutive Russian translation. This meeting followed a request from the police chief to improve communication with the city's Russian-speaking population.
