Panathinaikos is preparing for the decisive Game 5 against Valencia to secure the final spot in the EuroLeague Final Four. The match will determine who will face Real Madrid in the semifinals. Olympiacos and Fenerbahce have already qualified for the event, which is scheduled for May 22-24 at the T-Center in Athens. Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos expressed confidence in his team on Instagram, dismissing concerns about the suitability of the T-Center venue. Regarding team updates, the roster is training fully for the upcoming trip to Spain, with captain Kostas Sloukas being the only absentee due to injury. Additionally, the club has formally submitted a protest to EuroLeague regarding officiating decisions during the series against Valencia. Giannakopoulos also demanded fair hosting conditions in Spain, comparable to the hospitality shown to the Spanish team in Athens.
