Rescue operation for worker trapped in tiller near Limassol

On Monday morning, a rescue operation was conducted in the Makrinari area of Kapileio, Limassol district, after a worker's foot became trapped in a manual tiller. The Cyprus Fire Service received a call regarding the incident at 10:55. Response teams were dispatched from the Agios Ioannis Lochias Vasilis Krokos and Moniatis Rural fire stations. Firefighters successfully freed the individual by removing the rotary blades of the machinery. Upon being released, the injured person was transferred to the care of the ambulance service. The victim was then transported to the Accident and Emergency department of Limassol General Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities confirmed the rescue operation concluded safely.
