Cyprus-Greece ferry service to resume with new vessel
The seasonal maritime link between Cyprus and Greece will resume operations on May 29, departing from Limassol. The service will feature a total of 22 sailings, concluding with a final return trip on September 1. This year, the route will be operated by the Italian-flagged vessel AF Marina, which replaces the Daleela used in previous seasons. The ferry service, which was reinstated in 2022 after a two-decade hiatus, provides transport for passengers, students, and motorists. Fares for the current season are reported to remain at the same level as the previous year. The route serves travelers seeking an alternative to air transport, maintaining steady demand throughout the summer months despite the limited number of annual crossings.
