Cyprus parliamentary elections 2026: polling station details and locations
The General Returning Officer of Cyprus has announced operational details for the May 24, 2026, parliamentary elections. Overseas polling stations will be established in Greece (Athens and Thessaloniki), the United Kingdom (two in London), and Belgium (Brussels). Voting hours vary by location, with mandatory midday breaks scheduled. Additionally, the office identified 15 polling stations across Cyprus with fewer than 80 registered voters, located in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos districts. The smallest station is in Kouka, Limassol, with 52 voters. Measures have been coordinated with the Organization of Paraplegics of Cyprus to ensure accessibility for voters using wheelchairs. Voters must use valid identification and are reminded that horizontal voting is prohibited. Approximately 6,500 personnel are involved in the process, with an estimated total cost of 6 million euros.
