Overseas polling stations and procedures for the 2026 Cyprus parliamentary elections

The Office of the General Returning Officer of Cyprus has released information regarding overseas polling stations for the 2026 parliamentary elections. In Greece, voters can cast ballots in Athens at the Embassy of Cyprus and in Thessaloniki at the 2nd General Unified Lyceum, both operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a midday break. The United Kingdom will host two locations in London: the High Commission and the Cypriot Community Centre in Wood Green, both open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a shorter break. In Brussels, the station will operate at the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the EU from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Special accessibility measures have been coordinated with the Organization of Paraplegics of Cyprus to assist wheelchair users. Reports indicate that voters may utilize ID cards, including new digital credentials, for identification. Officials emphasized that horizontal voting is prohibited, and improper selection will result in invalid ballots.
