Donald Trump to lead business delegation to China for talks with Xi Jinping

Other notable participants include representatives from Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Blackstone, Mastercard, Visa, Qualcomm, Micron Technology, Meta, GE Aerospace, and Cargill. The primary objective of the mission is to secure trade agreements and purchasing commitments from China to stabilize economic relations. The meeting with President Xi Jinping will cover trade, tariffs, artificial intelligence, advanced technology export controls, and Taiwan. While the White House confirms the delegation, some companies have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding their participation. The visit occurs amid ongoing geopolitical and economic tensions between the two nations.
