Moses Odubajo secures two league titles in one season

Omonia Nicosia defender Moses Odubajo has achieved the rare feat of winning two league titles during the 2025/2026 season. After beginning the campaign with AEK Athens, where he made two appearances, he was transferred to the Cypriot club Omonia in January. Following his move, he contributed to Omonia's championship campaign with seven appearances, ultimately securing both the Greek Super League and the Cypriot league titles. AEK Athens officially acknowledged his contribution by including his name on their commemorative championship jerseys. In a recent interview with athletico.gr, the 32-year-old discussed his career transition from England to Greece in 2022 and subsequently to Cyprus. Beyond his professional achievements, Odubajo spoke openly about his personal life, including the childhood trauma of losing his mother to malaria at age 13. He described experiencing 'imposter syndrome' as a long-term consequence of the emotional difficulties and the survival mode he endured during his youth.
