Clashes between groups at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki result in injuries

On Tuesday morning, shortly before 10:00, a violent confrontation occurred at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). A group of individuals identified by some reports as anarchists attacked members of the EAAK student organization across multiple faculties, including the Polytechnic, Law, and Economics schools. The assailants allegedly used bats and helmets during the altercation. Medical personnel from EKAB, including two ambulances and a motorcycle unit, arrived on campus to provide first aid to the injured students, who suffered minor injuries to their limbs and heads. Following the incident, riot police units entered the university grounds to restore order. Authorities have confirmed that six individuals have been detained in connection with the events. It is currently being assessed whether any of the injured students require further hospitalization.
