Invest Cyprus signs cooperation agreement with Portuguese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce

On April 28, Invest Cyprus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Portuguese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The signing took place during the 'From Brazil to Europe & MENA' event at the WTC Lisbon. The agreement aims to facilitate investment promotion, economic development, and business partnerships between Brazil, Portugal, Cyprus, and the MENA region. This initiative is part of an ongoing strategy to enhance ties with Latin America, which began in September 2023. Since that date, Invest Cyprus has secured agreements with organizations including Invest Parana, Invest Minas, and Fecomercio Goias. More than five investment missions have visited Cyprus since the strategy's inception, with some projects already underway. CEO Marios Tannousis represented Invest Cyprus at the event, participating in a panel discussion regarding strategic business routes. Further investment opportunities are currently under discussion between the parties involved.
