Invest Cyprus signs MoU with Portuguese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce

On April 28, 2026, Invest Cyprus participated in the event 'From Brazil to Europe & MENA' held at the WTC Lisbon. A key outcome of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Invest Cyprus and the Portuguese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. This agreement aims to facilitate investment promotion, business synergies, and regional connectivity between Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. Invest Cyprus CEO Marios Tannousis took part in a panel discussion regarding strategic investment routes via Portugal and Cyprus. This initiative is part of a broader outreach strategy toward Latin America initiated by Invest Cyprus in September 2023. Since that date, the organization has established partnerships with entities such as Invest Parana, Invest Minas, and Fecomercio Goias. Reports indicate that more than five investment missions from Latin America have visited Cyprus since the strategy began. Some investment activities have already been implemented, while others remain under active negotiation.
