Two 17-year-old girls fall from building in Ilioupoli

Two 17-year-old female students fell from the roof of a six-story apartment building on 200 Eleftheriou Venizelou Street in Ilioupoli, Greece. One student died following the incident despite efforts to resuscitate her, while the second girl remains in critical condition at Asklipieio Voulas Hospital. The girls reportedly locked the terrace door before the fall. Police authorities are investigating the incident as a planned act. A suicide note was discovered in a backpack belonging to one of the girls, while no such note was found for the second student. Some reports suggest one of the victims had recently lost her father, while classmates offered conflicting accounts regarding the girls' emotional states leading up to the tragedy. The local school has requested support from psychologists and social workers to assist traumatized students.
