Dr. Michalis Psiloinis, a prominent Cypriot pediatrician known for his extensive work with thalassemia patients and healthcare infrastructure, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 94. The Cyprus Pediatric Society issued a statement honoring his decades of medical service, professional dedication, and his contributions to the cultural sector. His funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Saint Nicholas Church in Limassol. The family will receive condolences at the church starting at 11:00 a.m. His burial will take place at the Constantinou and Elenis Cemetery in Nicosia. Surviving family members include his wife, Niki Psiloinis, and his grandson, Michalis. In lieu of wreaths, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Anti-Anemic Association of Limassol.
