BYD launches Atto 2 DM-i compact SUV in Cyprus

On May 12, BYD Cyprus introduced the new Atto 2 DM-i, a compact B-SUV featuring Super Hybrid technology. During a press event, media representatives were invited to test the vehicle's performance. The car utilizes a plug-in hybrid system, which functions primarily as an electric vehicle with a 1.5-liter Xiaoyun gasoline engine providing power as needed. A key feature of the model is its fuel efficiency, with the manufacturer claiming a fuel consumption rate of 1.8 liters per 100 kilometers. The vehicle is equipped with BYD's proprietary Blade Battery technology. This launch marks the expansion of the Chinese manufacturer's footprint in the Cypriot market. As a plug-in hybrid, the model aims to offer the combined benefits of electric driving range and the traditional fuel efficiency of a combustion engine.
