Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture announces 2026 music funding results

The Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus has announced the funding results for the 2026 'Culture III' program, specifically for the support of musical activities. Out of 104 submitted applications, 83 were from organizations and 21 from groups of individuals. Following an evaluation, 19 applications were deemed invalid, while 85 scored at least 70 points and were considered eligible. Due to budget constraints, the ministry approved 49 projects, consisting of 46 organizations and 3 groups of individuals. A total of 539,061.76 euros will be distributed to these recipients. The evaluation committee was comprised of Stavros Gasparatos, Chara Anastasiou, and Marinos Christodoulou. The program aims to promote contemporary Cypriot music and encourage public participation. If any selected party declines the grant, the funding will be offered to the next applicant on the ranking list.
