Deputy ministry of culture announces music grant results for 2026

The Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus has released the results for the 2026 funding cycle of the 'Politismos III' program, specifically for music development. The initiative aims to support organizations and groups in promoting contemporary Cypriot music and facilitating artist mobility. A total of 104 applications were submitted, consisting of 83 from organizations and 21 from individual groups. Following an evaluation process, 19 applications were declared invalid. Of the remaining entries, 85 met the eligibility threshold of at least 70 points. Due to budgetary constraints, only the top 49 applicants, including 46 organizations and 3 groups, will receive funding. The total allocated budget for these grants is 539,061.76 euros. The ministry stated that all applicants will be notified in writing, and if an award is declined, funding will be offered to the next candidate on the ranking list.
