Road closures and traffic adjustments announced in Limassol

The Limassol Water Board (EOA) announced the complete closure of a section of Patron Street in Germasogeia starting Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for water pipeline connection works, with reopening scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Additionally, the Municipality of Limassol is implementing several traffic changes due to sewer construction. Agiou Andreou Street will be temporarily converted to a one-way street on May 15 and May 19, 2026, between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Traffic lights are being installed on 1st April Street until June 21, 2026, and on Koumoundourou Street until May 16, 2026. Furthermore, parking spaces on Christou Hatzipavlou Street were restricted on May 12, 2026, due to road maintenance. These regulatory measures are conducted under the 2006 Limassol Municipal Traffic Regulations with police authorization. The Germasogeia water tank project is in its final phase, with leakage testing currently underway.
