The Grant and Allowance Service of the Ministry of Finance in Cyprus has officially announced an extension for submitting applications for state student aid for the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline has been moved from May 14, 2026, to June 2, 2026, at 14:00. Applicants are required to submit their forms electronically through the official portal at https://sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy. The ministry noted that submissions must be completed by a parent or guardian using a verified and identified CYLOGIN account. Authorities observed that many previous applications contained errors due to a failure to follow provided instructions, causing administrative delays. Officials have urged applicants to ensure all information is accurate and to file well before the new deadline. No further submissions will be accepted after the specified date and time. This extension applies exclusively to the 2025-2026 academic period.
