Escalation of Israeli military operations in Gaza

Israeli defense officials stated that these operations are a response to intelligence reports suggesting that Hamas is rebuilding its forces, manufacturing weapons, and consolidating its control in the enclave. The ongoing violence has stalled progress on the reconstruction plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. Civilians, such as Lafi Al-Najjar, report that the conflict remains active despite announcements of a cessation. The Israeli military has not provided a formal public statement regarding the increase in strikes.
