Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot community tree planting initiative in Malia

On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, a joint tree planting event was held in Malia, Cyprus, involving both Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot participants. During the event, 200 trees were donated to the local community as part of a restoration effort following the severe wildfires of summer 2025.
