KEBE and KOAG sign memorandum of understanding for housing policy
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEBE) and the Cyprus Land Development Corporation (KOAG) have signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize cooperation in land development and housing policy. The agreement establishes a framework for sharing expertise, information, and policy recommendations between the two organizations. A core objective is to align housing strategies with the needs of the real economy and the workforce. The memorandum specifically focuses on exploring solutions for affordable housing, particularly in regions where demand is highest. Under the terms of the agreement, KEBE will serve in an advisory capacity by representing the views and requirements of the business community. Conversely, KOAG will retain its executive role in implementing housing and development projects. The parties intend to engage in joint consultations with relevant stakeholders to promote sustainable development and economic competitiveness. Ultimately, the collaboration aims to enhance social cohesion through more targeted policies regarding land and infrastructure.
