Yeroskipou coastal walkway expansion project agreement signed

On May 13, 2026, the Yeroskipou municipality signed an agreement for the second phase of the coastal walkway project. The contract, valued at €1,081,545 plus VAT, was signed by Mayor Nikos Palios and Socrates Themistocleous representing the contractor, Panath Construction Ltd. The project involves the renovation of the walkway between the Phaethon hotel and the Athena Royal hotel. Additionally, a footpath located near the municipal boundaries of Paphos and Yeroskipou will be developed. The construction is scheduled to be completed within seven months from the project start date. According to local reporting, the project is co-financed by the THALIA 2021-2027 cohesion policy program.
