Police investigation into the Sandy case and allegations of institutional corruption

Cypriot authorities are investigating a case involving a woman known as Sandy, who circulated messages alleging severe sexual abuse, judicial corruption, and links to secret organizations like the Rosicrucians. The allegations claim the woman was abused by a judge starting at age 10 and subsequently bore three children from him. The accused judge categorically denies these claims, stating he only met the woman three times during her adulthood. Police sources and the legal service reportedly consider these messages to be fabricated. The woman allegedly confessed to police that the claims were a product of her imagination. Journalist Makarios Drousiotis, lawyer Nikos Clerides, and journalist Stelios Orphanides are accused by some officials of promoting this narrative.
