Ministry of Labour launches eValueJobs tool for wage transparency
The Department of Labour Relations of the Cyprus Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has launched an information campaign for the 'eValueJobs' digital tool. This project is co-funded by the European Union’s CERV program with a budget of €280,000. It aims to promote gender pay equality and transparency by providing employers and social partners with gender-neutral job evaluation tools. The project supports the implementation of EU Directive 2023/970, which mandates equal pay for men and women. The consortium implementing the project includes the University of Cyprus, major trade unions (SEK, PEO, DEOK), employer organizations (OEB, CCCI), and firms PwC Cyprus and RedWolfOgilvy. The resulting digital evaluation tool is now available to the public free of charge. Interested parties can contact the Department of Labour Relations via email at info@dlr.mlsi.gov.cy for further support. The initiative focuses on enabling both public and private sector employers to conduct unbiased job valuations during collective negotiations.
