AUB Mediterraneo and Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation sign memorandum of understanding

The American University of Beirut-Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding in Paphos to promote music education and cultural cooperation. The agreement was signed by AUB Mediterraneo President Dr. Wassim El Hajj, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation Administrative Director Christos Xenophontos, and Youth Symphony Orchestra Artistic Director George Kountouris. The collaboration aims to strengthen ties between higher education and the arts. Planned initiatives include joint educational and artistic activities, lectures, seminars, and masterclasses. Additionally, the partnership provides opportunities for students to participate in rehearsals, internships in cultural management, and the coordination of joint concerts and events. The signing ceremony was attended by academic staff, representatives of both organizations, and other guests.
