Art workshop on collective narratives and the future of Cyprus
An open interactive art installation and workshop invites participants to explore Cyprus through myths, rumors, and personal experiences. The event examines how complex political history shapes multiple, often contradictory, social narratives across generations. Attendees engage with existing exhibition materials and contribute their own reflections, thoughts, and personal histories to the collective dialogue. Following these discussions, participants are tasked with creating letters titled 'To Whom It May Concern' using text, drawing, and collage techniques. While Cyprus serves as the conceptual starting point for the project, the scope extends to universal themes of coexistence and ideals for a future society. The initiative encourages attendees to express their imagination regarding the values that would define an ideal island. These creative contributions are intended to foster a broader exploration of social and political perspectives.
