Teenager killed in shooting incident in Nantes

On the evening of Thursday, May 14, a shooting incident occurred in Nantes, France, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old boy. Two other minors, aged 13 and 14, were also injured during the attack. Local authorities and the prosecutor of Nantes reported that the event is linked to drug trafficking disputes. The shooting took place around 7:30 p.m. near an apartment building. According to police, the victim was shot at the entrance of the building, while the perpetrators pursued another youth to the 13th floor, where he had sought refuge in an apartment. The suspects reportedly arrived on a motorcycle and fled the scene immediately after the incident. The 13-year-old victim is currently in critical condition, while the 14-year-old is receiving medical treatment for his injuries, though his life is not considered to be in danger.
