Anorthosis coach Mauro Camoranesi addresses squad planning after transfer ban
Following Anorthosis's 0-1 defeat against Olympiacos, coach Mauro Camoranesi expressed pride in his players' performance over the last three months. Addressing the team's future, Camoranesi confirmed that due to a transfer ban, the club intends to retain the existing roster. He emphasized that it is too early to discuss specific plans for the next season, opting instead for a period of rest. Regarding roster changes, the management aims to keep all current players, with the exception of Sosa, who has already departed, and Theodorou, who is not in the coach's plans. The club is also exploring the possibility of permanently signing defender Andreas Karamanolis. Karamanolis is currently on loan from Panserraikos, and his potential permanent move depends on the Greek club's status after the season ends. Anorthosis remains in communication with the player regarding these developments. Meanwhile, the club is scheduled to hold an electoral assembly on June 5, where Kyriakos Prastitis is expected to contest the presidency.
