Athens prepares for the Euroleague Final Four

The Euroleague Final Four is scheduled to take place in Athens at the Telekom Center Athens from May 22 to 24. The participating teams are Olympiacos, Real Madrid, Valencia, and Fenerbahce. Olympiacos is set to face the defending champion Fenerbahce in the first semifinal on May 22 at 18:00, while Real Madrid will play against Valencia at 21:00. Olympiacos recently qualified for the Greek Basketball League semifinals after defeating Kolossos Rhodes 2-0 in their playoff series, finishing the second game 97-58. Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas expressed his determination to secure the European title this year, noting the team's improved health. Valencia coach Pedro Martinez emphasized the importance of team identity and daily work over immediate results. Over 8,000 Olympiacos fans are expected to attend the event to support their team. The squads have begun arriving in Athens and are staying at The Ilisian hotel.
