Olympiacos faces Kolossos in game two of the GBL playoffs

On May 16-17, the Greek Basketball League (GBL) continues with the second matches of the quarter-final playoffs. Olympiacos travels to Rhodes to face Kolossos Rhodes after securing a 1-0 lead in the series with a 117-76 victory on May 13. Olympiacos aims for a second win to close the series and advance to the semi-finals before the Euroleague Final Four, scheduled for May 22-24 in which they face Fenerbahce. Coach Georgios Bartzokas has left players Evan Fournier, Nikola Milutinov, and Thomas Walkup in Athens for rest. Additionally, Cory Joseph, Shaquille McKissic, and Moustafa Fall remain ineligible for the domestic league roster, while Tevin Mack is sidelined for Kolossos. PAOK has already qualified for the semi-finals after defeating Peristeri 2-0. The match in Rhodes is expected to allow Olympiacos to focus its primary resources on upcoming European commitments.
