Karolina Pelendritou awarded at the 14th Messinia Challenge

The 14th edition of the Messinia Challenge took place from May 7 to May 10 in Messinia, Greece. During the event's awards ceremony held on May 9, Cypriot three-time Paralympic champion Karolina Pelendritou received an honorary award for her long-standing contribution to sports and society. The award was presented to her by Greek Paralympians Nasos Gavelas, Grigoris Polychronidis, and Georgia Kaltsi, alongside JYSK Greece Country Director George Tsironis. Other notable figures present at the ceremony included Dimosthenis Tampakos, Demis Nikolaidis, Maria Polyzou, and Penny Rougka. In her acceptance speech, Pelendritou highlighted the importance of inclusion and referenced her newly established organization, Through My Eyes. The Messinia Challenge, organized by Active Media Group since 2013, is recognized as a significant European event for sports tourism and wellness.
