Athina Oikonomakou and Bruno Cerella marry in private ceremony

Greek actress Athina Oikonomakou and professional basketball player Bruno Cerella married in a private religious ceremony on Saturday, May 16. The wedding took place at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Plaka, Athens, in the presence of approximately ten close family members and friends. Despite prior speculation suggesting a ceremony on the island of Paros or an estate in Attica, the couple opted for a central Athens location. The bride wore a lace gown while the groom wore a white suit. Reports indicate that an official wedding announcement was issued on May 8. Although the religious marriage has taken place, additional celebrations including a beach party are reportedly scheduled for late June in Paros. The couple, who have been in a relationship for nearly two years, had previously hinted at their engagement via social media.
